From Asheville area:  follow I-26 W north toward Weaverville and Mars Hill.  Just beyond Mars Hill, take Exit 9, then turn RIGHT onto Hwy. 19 and follow that to Burnsville.

From Johnson City area:  follow I-26 E across the state line and down from Sam’s Gap to Exit 9;  straight ahead on Hwy 19 to Burnsville.

From the east:  follow I-40 to Exit 86 (Marion, Spruce Pine).  Then turn Right onto 226/221 and follow it as it becomes 4-lane and by-passes downtown Marion.  Turn LEFT onto Hwy 70 at a stoplight, facing Walmart.  Go 1.5 miles on Hwy 70, then turn RIGHT on Hwy 80.  Follow 80 for 12 miles of climbing and curves.  At the top stay on 80, going under the Blue Ridge Parkway, and continue for 14.5 miles.  Left on Micaville Loop, then LEFT onto Hwy 19, then 4 miles to Burnsville.  Bear RIGHT on East Main, and follow it uphill to the center of town.
